FORMATS TO BREAK THE MONOTONY
Most environments made with tiles are often based on measures repeated in several models. They are standard measures that help to maintain a fairly homogeneous image with the spaces where these tiles are placed. Of course, the fantastic of its designs make each model to be different and provide great differences between them. But… ¿why limit yourself to a standard tile size if you can make the difference betting on different sizes?
The walls of the bathroom or kitchen can be truly original with the presence of narrower tiles, with measures that recall other times, such as beading. These pieces of 7.5 x 30 centimeters can make a different and original image, which departs from traditional tiles 30 x 30 cm or 45 x 45 cm.
One possibility that reinforces that different image is to combine these narrower pieces with square tiles, creating a distinct ambience between the bottom and the top of the wall. The placement of the pieces can be indistinct, creating space with narrow pieces from the half of the wall to the bottom and letting the top with square tiles, or vice versa.
Another possibility would be to use three spaces on the wall. I mean, leaving a central space with narrower tiles and the top and bottom with traditional tiles. These traditional tiles can be installed so as to form diamonds, enhancing the different image of the bathroom or kitchen. Everything is possible. The only limit is the taste and imagination of the homeowner.
What must always prevail in the home decoration is the taste of each person, seeking for advise, of course, from a professional team who know what to do and make the most of customer requirements.
