DESIGN IN THE KITCHEN

A small kitchen doesn’t have to be a boring kitchen. Lack of space doesn’t have to be a problem to create a pleasing space in line with the rest of the decoration of the house. We don’t have to worry about the lack of meters, we must just think the possibilities that the  decoration of a small kitchen offers us.

One of the main elements to keep in mind is the light. The more natural light, the more possibilities to decorate the kitchen. In addition, the abundance of light makes the space look more spacious, although the kitchen is really tiny and installing bulky furniture can be a difficult task.

On the walls you can use light colors to enhance the space and allow light to reflect through the window. Eliminating the curtain we’ll win light and we avoid to use some space with another accessory. This way we’ll win amplitude in the stay. White is one of the most used colors in kitchens, precisely for this reason.

Furthermore, by combining these light colors with bright colors we break the monotony of the white, and we help the walls not to be as monochromatic. The presence of these bright colors can also be present in the furniture. This way, furniture doesn’t obstruct the vision. It seems that less space is used in our kitchen and also brings something more to the general decoration.

Kitchens of many homes don’t allow to have tables to eat in, but if there is some space for it, we can put a folding table that allows storing when not in use and keep the space needed. In addition, it can also be used for other things and gain some space. Anything goes to create a welcoming, pleasant and spacious environment, although the available meters are scarce and don’t allow many combinations.
