TRADITION OR MODERNITY? WHY NOT BOTH OF THEM?

This is the eternal question before dealing with the renovation of our house. Should we choose a traditional decoration style or a more current and modern one? It is not a decision to be taken lightly, since we need to know which image we want to offer our home.

When we are choosing a kind of decoration or another, we have to take into account not only tiles and equipment for our bathrooms and kitchen, but also furniture that will be a part of the different rooms in the house. Each decision in the choice of those tiles can make us think in a different style in each of these rooms.

So, if it is necessary to think about what kind of room we want in each case, why not use different criteria in each of the individual spaces that are giving shape to our home?

Different styles in our house have no reason to be in conflict

That all the corners in our houses have the same decoration is not necessary, although it is convenient to keep the chosen style in common areas and connected rooms, in order to give a greater homogeneity on the whole.

We can, for example, choose a modern and contemporary style for our living room, but offer a more traditional look to the kitchen, looking for a more enjoyable and personal space. We can also choose a minimalist style for the bedroom, looking for functionality, while you select a more classical and even rustic image for the living room.

Although it may seem a contradiction in terms, both rooms remain separated and do not create an unpleasant contrast between both spaces. A public area in a style ant private rooms decorated in a different style enhances our home with no reason for conflict.
